There are so many reasons why I chose this topic to write about. The latest is his taking over the media on a Sunday for 5 hours straight. Why Sunday? He does nothing without a motive. Is Obama competing with God? Does he have nothing better to do on Sunday? Or, does he figure that most of his followers would be home that day. I don't know about you, but I receive instruction on Sunday morning in church. The rest of the day is spent with family and resting. The last thing I want to do is turn on the TV and listen to Obama for 5 hours. I suspect a bit of narcissism here. He does show extreme love and admiration for himself. A humble man he is not. He is proud. He is arrogant. These are not the characteristics of a godly man. Not only is he not God, but he is not a godly man. God hates pride. It will bring a man down fast. I think Obama should examine himself, and step aside. We have seen and heard enough of him for a while.
Taken from the website, The Caucus, Janie Lorber writes
Obama Sunday, The Rehash:
"President Obama was seen, heard and rehashed all day. Indeed, Sunday was more of a marathon for the reporters and pundits scrambling to weigh in on Mr. Obama’s five television appearances than for the president, who rounded off the day with an unusual 18-hole golf game (more than four and a half hours for those of you keeping track)."
Let's take a look at some of his followers behavior. We now have teachers teaching children how to praise Obama to the tune of 2 different songs. The Battle Hymn of the Republic and Jesus Loves the Little Children. http://degreesofmoderation.blogspot.com/2009/09/school-children-taught-to-sing-praises.html People have lost their minds. Common sense has gone out the window. Who would do that? I'll tell you who. People who believe Obama can solve all the problems in the world. People who have no Savior. They will blindly follow him at the risk of losing everything. This site displays pictures and videos of their Messiah while he was campaigning. http://obamamessiah.blogspot.com/ . I've never seen anything like this. I've seen cult members follow a leader out in some deserted compound or hidden remote area, but never this kind of out in the open display of blasphemy.
People need to get a grip on reality. Obama is NOT the Savior. He is made of flesh and blood just like us, he sweats like us, he needs to eat and sleep like us. There were many before him and there will be more after him. He will NOT save the world. He cannot do a thing to add 1 more day or 1 less day to the life of this planet. The world will end when God says it will end and not a day sooner. He cannot stop the forces of evil that roam the planet, he cannot solve all of mankinds woes by controlling them. He is a strange man, but what's stranger are his devotees that praise and honor him like he's the answer to all of lifes problems. His presidency is but a moment in time. A flick of a switch. A snap of a finger. He is an elected official of the United States of America. He did not make America what it is today, and he will not save America. As a matter of fact, the less he interfers the better off we'll all be when his time if up. The people are what has made America great. The blood, sweat and tears of those who came before us. And it's the people who are here now. It's Mary the baker, or Sam the farmer, or Cathy the retail store owner, or Jim the construction worker. So, may I suggest that we all take a reality check and understand that each and everyone of us has a part to do. Obama's job is not to be our big daddy. We are adults and we should act like adults. We can take care of ourselves. I don't know about you, but having the government take care of my needs is like being 40 and still living under mom and dad's roof. Sure, you can have a job, have a car, have friends and do pretty much what you want. But, reality is, you are not totally free and independent. As long as you live under mommy and daddy's roof, they have control of you. That's depressing.
Bottom line. God is God, I'm a free citizen of the United States of America and Obama is President. For now.
Let's get on with life!

Greetings - I like your take on the whole situation - the point being - the President is an elected official - and, although some are great men, capable of great things (until sense prevails and a great woman is given the nod) - there are merely - at the end of the day - employees of the people. A conservative in Vermont! - Almost as uncommon as a Conservative in Massachusetts (although I'd hazard to guess that we have more company than one would guess) - When one considers where both of our states factored into the beginnings of this country - it is amazing to see what has happened to the political think in such a short span of time - we live in the cradle of Democracy - I believe the people will absolutely speak in 2010 and 2012. Keep up the blog - very good job!
ReplyDeleteI think France's President Sarkosi (or however it is spelled) was right when he said Obama was naive and narcissistic. And, by the way, he married another narcissist...Michelle Obama.
ReplyDeleteThe French president is correct.
